Who We Are
Our Story What started as a respected Australian paint range has become our passion. Just over a year ago, we purchased the business and relocated it to Townsville in North Queensland, where it is proudly owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Mark and Man Yee White. As passionate scale modellers ourselves, we understand that authentic colours, consistent performance and reliability make all the difference to the finished model. That is why every colour is carefully researched, refined where possible, and manufactured with the modeller in mind. Every bottle is hand made, hand filled, bottled and labelled right here in Australia. We proudly support Australian suppliers wherever possible and are committed to producing premium-quality products that deliver outstanding results while supporting Australian manufacturing. Our range now includes almost 600 colours, together with primers, clears, weathering products, metallics, pearls, candies, fluorescent and glow colours, all supplied airbrush-ready straight from the bottle. We also offer custom colour matching and bespoke paint mixes for restoration projects, clubs, museums, businesses and individual modellers looking for something unique. Since taking over the business, we have continued to expand the range, improve colour accuracy using original references and paint chips where available, and develop new products to meet the needs of the modelling community. Today, Model Paint Company is trusted by hobbyists, professional builders, museums, clubs and restoration enthusiasts across Australia, and we continue to grow. As we expand, we are actively seeking new retail partners, distributors and business opportunities both within Australia and internationally. We believe in building long-term relationships based on quality products, outstanding customer service and a genuine passion for the hobby.
